Clotrimazole-Betamethasone Age Range
Clotrimazole and betamethasone (Lotrisone) is approved for use in people 17 years of age and older. This medication can cause serious adverse events consistent with Cushing’s syndrome (HPA-axis suppression), growth retardation (reduced body weight gain), benign intracranial hypertension, and local cutaneous reactions, including skin atrophy (thinning skin), in pediatric patients.
