What should I tell my health care provider before I take Blephamide?

They need to know if you have any of these conditions:

-infection (especially a viral infection such as chickenpox, cold sores, or herpes)
-cataracts
-glaucoma
-wear contact lenses
-an unusual or allergic reaction to sulfa drugs, corticosteroids, other medicines, foods, dyes, or preservatives
-pregnant or trying to get pregnant
-breast-feeding

What should I watch for while using Blephamide?

Check with your health care provider if your condition does not start to get better after 2 days, or if it gets worse. Check with your health care provider before using this medicine for any future eye problems.
Do not stop taking except on your doctor''s advice. You may develop a severe reaction. Your doctor will tell you how much medicine to use.
If you get any sign of an allergic reaction, call your doctor or health care professional for advice.
Wear sunglasses if this medicine makes your eyes more sensitive to light.

Where should I keep my medicine?

Keep out of the reach of children.
Store at room temperature between 15 and 30 degrees C (59 and 86 degrees F). Do not freeze. Protect from light. Throw away any unused medicine after the expiration date.
