Bystolic Tips from Pharmacists

  • Bystolic is usually taken once a day by mouth with water. You can take Bystolic tablets with or without food.

  • Bystolic can make you feel dizzy and tired when you first start treatment. Do not drive or operate heavy machinery until you know how this medicine affects you.

  • If you are measuring your blood pressure at home, your numbers should improve in 1-2 weeks after starting Bystolic. If your blood pressure does not improve, contact your doctor.

  • Do not skip doses or stop taking Bystolic suddenly. Talk to your doctor if you want to stop Bystolic. Your doctor will tell you how to reduce the dose slowly.
