What may interact with Cetirizine?

-alcohol
-certain medicines for anxiety or sleep
-narcotic medicines for pain
-other medicines for colds or allergies

What should I tell my health care provider before I take Cetirizine?

They need to know if you have any of these conditions:
-kidney disease
-liver disease
-an unusual or allergic reaction to cetirizine, hydroxyzine, other medicines, foods, dyes, or preservatives
-pregnant or trying to get pregnant
-breast-feeding

What should I watch for while using Cetirizine?

Visit your doctor or health care professional for regular checks on your health. Tell your doctor if your symptoms do not improve.

This medicine may make you feel confused, dizzy or lightheaded. Drinking alcohol or taking medicine that causes drowsiness can make this worse. Do not drive, use machinery, or do anything that needs mental alertness until you know how this medicine affects you.

Your mouth may get dry. Chewing sugarless gum or sucking hard candy, and drinking plenty of water will help.

Where should I keep my medicine?

Keep out of the reach of children.

Store at room temperature of 59 to 86 degrees F (15 to 30 degrees C). Throw away any unused medicine after the expiration date.
