Clonidine (Catapres) Age Range

Clonidine is approved for use in adults 12 years of age and older to treat high blood pressure. The extended-release tablet can be used in pediatric patients (teenagers and children 6 years of age and older) to treat attention deficit hyperactivity disorder.
