Dorzolamide Tips from Pharmacists

  • To avoid contamination and the risk of infections, do not touch the dropper tip to your eye or anything else. Also, do not rinse or wash the dropper after use.

  • If you wear contact lenses, remove them before instilling dorzolamide and wait 15 minutes before putting them back in.

  • Make sure you allow at least 10 minutes between using dorzolamide and other eye drops.

  • You cannot easily tell if your elevated intraocular pressure (high pressure in the eye) is improving. Talk to your doctor before stopping use of dorzolamide eye drops.
