What may interact with K-Phos Neutral?

Do not take this medicine with any of the following medications:

-burosumab
-eplerenone
-sevelamer

This medicine may also interact with the following medications:

-antacids or other products that contain aluminum, magnesium, or calcium
-certain medicines for blood pressure or heart disease like lisinopril, losartan, quinapril, valsartan
-diuretics such as spironolactone, triamterene
-iron supplements
-magnesium supplements
-medicines that lower your chance of fighting infection such as cyclosporine, tacrolimus
-other products that contain potassium or phosphorus
-salt substitutes
-vitamin D supplements

What should I tell my health care provider before I take K-Phos Neutral?

They need to know if you have any of these conditions:

-Addison''s disease
-dehydration
-heart disease
-high levels of phosphate, potassium, or sodium in the blood
-kidney disease
-kidney stones
-low sodium diet
-an unusual or allergic reaction to phosphorus, potassium, sodium, other medicines, foods, dyes, or preservatives
-pregnant or trying to get pregnant
-breast-feeding

What should I watch for while using K-Phos Neutral?

Visit your health care provider for regular checks on your progress. Your doctor may order blood work while you are taking this drug.

You may pass a kidney stone after starting this drug. Contact your health care provider if you have new or unusual symptoms.

Follow a healthy diet. Taking this drug does not replace the need for a balanced diet.

Where should I keep my medicine?

Keep out of the reach of children.
Store at room temperature between 20 and 25 degrees C (68 and 77 degrees F). Protect from light. Throw away any unused medicine after the expiration date.
