How To Use Librax (Chlordiazepoxide-Clidinium)

Librax comes in the form of a capsule to take by mouth 3-4 times a day. You should take this medicine 30-60 minutes before meals on an empty stomach and at bedtime. 

Read the prescription label and patient information leaflet carefully and use Librax exactly as advised. Do not change the dose, dosage frequency, or duration of treatment without talking to your doctor. Also, do not stop taking Librax without your doctor’s approval, as this can lead to withdrawal symptoms.

Missed dose: If you forget to take a dose of Librax, take it as soon as you remember. However, if it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and go back to your regular dosing schedule. Do not take a double dose or extra medicine to make up for a missed dose.

Storage: Store Librax at room temperature (between 15-30° C or 59-86° F) away from moisture, heat, and direct light in its original container, tightly closed. Do not store medications in the bathroom where they can be exposed to moisture and heat. Keep all medications safely out of reach of children and pets.

Unused medicine: Unused Librax should be disposed of in a way that children, other people, and pets cannot get to them. Do not throw Librax in the trash or flush it down the toilet.
