Naproxen (nuh praak sn) belongs to a group of medications called nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs).

Naproxen Age Range

Naproxen is approved for use in adults and children 2 years of age and older. This medicine may be used in children under the age of 2 if it is determined necessary by a doctor. Naproxen is not appropriate for children who weigh less than 50 kilograms.
