-allergic reactions like skin rash, itching or hives, swelling of the face, lips, or tongue
-bluish discoloration of lips, fingernails, or palms of hands
-breathing problems
-increased sweating
-yellowing of the eyes or skin when this medicine is given to newborn babies

Side effects that usually do not require medical attention (report to your doctor or health care professional if they continue or are bothersome):
-changes in taste
-dizziness
-flushing of the face
-pain, inflammation, or swelling at site where injected
