Prednisolone Sodium Phosphate Side Effects

- Headache
- Nausea
- Sleep problems
- Mood changes
- Personality changes
- Increased sweating
- Thinning of skin
- Thinning of hair
- Acne
- Delayed wound healing
- Increased appetite
- Changes in fat distribution
- Menstrual period changes
Prednisolone sodium phosphate can also cause some very serious side effects. Call your doctor right away or seek emergency treatment if you develop the following serious symptoms:
- Skin rash, hives, itching
- Swelling of the face, eyes, lips, tongue, throat, hands, arms, lower legs, ankles, or feet
- Difficulty breathing or swallowing
- Signs of infection such as fever, chills, sore throat, or cough
- Vision problems
- Muscle weakness
- Seizures
- Abdominal swelling
- Sudden weight gain
- Depression
- Losing touch with reality

Call 911 if a person has collapsed, cannot be awakened, cannot breathe, or has had a seizure.
