• You can take Trintellix with or without food. However, you should take your medicine at around the same time every day.

• Swallow the tablet whole. Do not cut, crush, or dissolve the tablet.

• Continue taking Trintellix even if you feel well. Do not stop taking the medicine suddenly. Talk to your doctor if you want to come off this medication. Your doctor will reduce your dose gradually.

• Trintellix was previously sold under the trade name Brintellix. The name was changed because it was too similar to the heart medication Brilinta.
