What may interact with Vaniqa?

Interactions are not expected. Do not use any other skin products on the affected area without asking your doctor or health care professional.

What should I tell my health care provider before I take Vaniqa?

They need to know if you have any of these conditions:
-an unusual or allergic reaction to eflornithine, other medicines, foods, dyes, or preservatives
-pregnant or trying to get pregnant
-breast-feeding

What should I watch for while using Vaniqa?

Improvement of the condition occurs gradually. It may take 4 to 8 weeks. If there is no improvement after 6 months, talk to your doctor about stopping this medicine. About 8 weeks after stopping treatment with this medicine, the hair will return to the same condition as before treatment.

Where should I keep my medicine?

Keep out of the reach of children.

Store at room temperature between 15 and 30 degrees C (59 and 86 degrees F). Do not freeze. Throw away any unused medicine after the expiration date.
