How should I use Verapamil?

This drug is injected into a vein. It is given by a health care provider in a hospital or clinic setting.
Talk to your health care provider about the use of this drug in children. While it may be prescribed for children as young as newborns for selected conditions, precautions do apply.

Overdosage: If you think you have taken too much of Verapamil contact a poison control center or emergency room at once. NOTE: Verapamil is only for you. Do not share Verapamil with others.

What if I miss a dose?

If you miss a dose, take it as soon as you can. If it is almost time for your next dose, take only that dose. Do not take double or extra doses.
