Ciclopirox Side Effects

Ciclopirox topical solution can cause mild redness and burning around the infected nail. Tell your doctor if this side effect is severe or persistent. 

More serious side effects of ciclopirox are listed below. Call your doctor immediately if you develop:

  • Irritation, swelling, itching, or burning sensation
  • Blistering or oozing at the application site
  • Pain in the nails or adjacent skin
  • Change in the shape or color of the nails
  • Ingrown nails
