No, BuzzRx does not track individual users using the Member ID number listed on the card, coupon, or free mobile App. You can request as many cards or coupons as you like, and you will still receive the same great discounts at the pharmacy. The pharmacy requires a Member ID number to process the discount. 

To add a BuzzRx prescription savings coupon to your mobile wallet, search for your medication, select the pharmacy coupon, and scroll down until you see “Add to Wallet.” Depending on your mobile device, select Google Wallet or Apple Wallet to open the phone application. Click “Add” to save. Show your pharmacist the wallet card the next time you fill or refill a prescription to apply savings.

No, BuzzRx is not insurance—it’s a free prescription savings service. By using BuzzRx cards and coupons, you are obligated to pay for all prescriptions as you receive them. However, it’s not unusual for BuzzRx discounts to be less than copays on popular medications, so always have the pharmacy compare the discounted price to your insurance.

Paying with BuzzRx is considered an “out-of-network” purchase, and the insurance company decides whether to count it towards your deductible or pay you back. Please contact your insurance company to find out, as not all plans are the same.

If you are a senior on Medicare, BuzzRx can be used on prescriptions excluded from Medicare Part D. Please note that these purchases will not count toward the Medicare deductible. You could also use our card instead of Medicare if the cost is lower—you cannot combine our discounts with Medicare. This is not insurance.
