They need to know if you have any of these conditions:

-cigarette smoker
-diabetes
-glucose-6-phosphate dehydrogenase deficiency
-hemoglobin M disease
-lactose intolerance
-liver disease
-an unusual or allergic reaction to flutamide, other chemotherapy, other medicines, foods, dyes, or preservatives
-your partner is pregnant or trying to get pregnant

What should I watch for while using Flutamide?

Visit your doctor or health care professional for regular checks on your progress. Improvement in your condition can take several days.

This medicine is only for use in men. There is no indication for the use of this medicine in women. This medicine should never be given to pregnant women, as it may cause harm to the developing fetus.

This medicine may increase blood sugar. Ask your healthcare provider if changes in diet or medicines are needed if you have diabetes.

Where should I keep my medicine?

Keep out of the reach of children.

Store between 2 and 30 degrees C (36 and 86 degrees F). Protect from moisture. Throw away any unused medicine after the expiration date.
