How To Use Methocarbamol

Methocarbamol comes in the form of a tablet to be taken by mouth with water. Follow the directions on your prescription label carefully. Do not take more or less methocarbamol or take it more or less frequently than prescribed.

Missed dose: If you forget to take a dose of methocarbamol, take it as soon as you remember. However, if it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed one and take your next dose at the regularly scheduled time. Do not take a double dose of methocarbamol to make up for a missed dose.

Storage: Store methocarbamol in a tightly closed container at room temperature (between 15-30° C or 59-86° F) away from moisture, heat, and direct light. Keep all medications out of reach of children and pets.

Unused medicine: Throw away any expired or unused methocarbamol. Do not flush the medicine down the toilet. The best way to dispose of medicines is through your local waste disposal company or a medication take-back program. Learn more about proper medication disposal.
