-blood clots
-myelodysplastic syndrome
-an unusual or allergic reaction to romiplostim, mannitol, other medicines, foods, dyes, or preservatives
-pregnant or trying to get pregnant
-breast-feeding

What should I watch for while using Nplate?

Visit your health care provider for regular checks on your progress. You may need blood work done while you are taking this medicine. Your condition will be monitored carefully while you are receiving this medicine. It is important not to miss any appointments.

Where should I keep my medicine?

This medicine is given in a hospital or clinic. It will not be stored at home.
