What side effects may I notice from receiving Nuvigil?

Side effects that you should report to your doctor or health care professional as soon as possible:

-allergic reactions like skin rash, itching or hives, swelling of the face, lips, or tongue
-anxiety
-breathing or swallowing problems
-chest pain
-depressed mood
-elevated mood, decreased need for sleep, racing thoughts, impulsive behavior
-fast, irregular heartbeat
-hallucination, loss of contact with reality
-increased blood pressure
-mouth sores, blisters, or peeling skin
-rash, fever, and swollen lymph nodes
-redness, blistering, peeling, or loosening of the skin, including inside the mouth
-sore throat, fever, or chills
-suicidal thoughts or other mood changes
-tremors
-vomiting

Side effects that usually do not require medical attention (report to your doctor or health care professional if they continue or are bothersome):

-headache
-nausea, diarrhea, or stomach upset
-nervousness
-trouble sleeping
