What should I tell my health care provider before I take Polymyxin B
They need to know if you have any of these conditions:
-Kidney disease
-Lung disease
-Myasthenia gravis or other neuromuscular disease
-An unusual or allergic reaction to polymyxin B, other medications, foods, dyes, or preservatives
-Pregnant or trying to get pregnant
-Breast-feeding
What should I watch for while using Polymyxin B?
Visit your care team for regular checks on your progress. Tell your care team if your symptoms do not start to get better or if they get worse.
Where should I keep my medicine?
This medication is given in a hospital or clinic. It will not be stored at home.
