Pregabalin (Lyrica) Tips from Pharmacists

  • Pregabalin can cause dizziness and drowsiness. Do not drive or do anything that requires your full concentration until you know how it affects you.

  • Do not suddenly stop taking pregabalin. This can lead to withdrawal symptoms. Your doctor will tell you how to reduce the dose slowly.

  • Go to the emergency room immediately if you develop a severe allergic reaction. Signs and symptoms of allergic reactions include breathing problems (wheezing, trouble breathing), skin problems (hives, rash, itching), and swelling.
