What side effects may I notice from receiving Zonegran?

Side effects that you should report to your doctor or health care professional as soon as possible:

-allergic reactions like skin rash, itching or hives, swelling of the face, lips, or tongue
-blood in the urine
-changes in vision
-confusion
-fever
-hallucinations
-loss of appetite
-loss of memory
-pain in the lower back or side
-pain when urinating
-rash, fever, and swollen lymph nodes
-redness, blistering, peeling or loosening of the skin, including inside the mouth
-signs and symptoms of increased acid in the body like breathing fast; fast heartbeat; headache; confusion; unusually weak or tired; nausea, vomiting
-signs and symptoms of low red blood cells or anemia such as unusually weak or tired; feeling faint or lightheaded; falls; breathing problems
-suicidal thoughts, mood changes
-unusual sweating

Side effects that usually do not require medical attention (report to your doctor or health care professional if they continue or are bothersome):

-dizziness
-headache
-irritable
-nausea
-tiredness
-trouble sleeping
