What is Keflex?

Keflex is a first-generation cephalosporin antibiotic. Keflex kills bacteria by inhibiting their cell-wall synthesis (their protective wall). Keflex is used to treat bacterial infections, including upper respiratory tract infections, ear infections, skin, bone, and urinary tract infections.
