Vitamin B6 Side Effects

Common side effects of vitamin B6 are listed below. Call your doctor for medical advice about side effects if they are severe or persist after a few days.

  • Headache
  • Drowsiness
  • Upset stomach
  • Sensations of tightness, tingling, burning, or prickling in the hands or feet

Vitamin B6 Overdose: In case of an overdose of vitamin B6, call your doctor immediately. Call 911 or emergency services if a person has collapsed, cannot breathe, has had a seizure, or cannot be awakened.
