• Do not touch the timolol ophthalmic solution dropper to your eye or anything else. Also, do not rinse or wash the dropper after use.

• Wash your hands before and after using the eye drops.

• If you wear contact lenses, remove them before instilling timolol and wait 15 minutes before putting them back in.

• Do not use other eye drops within 10 minutes of using timolol.

• It is not easy to tell if your eye pressure is improving. Talk to your doctor before stopping timolol even if you don’t have any symptoms.
