What may interact with Anusol HC?

Interactions are not expected. Do not use any other rectal products on the affected area without telling your care team.

What should I tell my health care provider before I take Anusol HC

They need to know if you have any of these conditions:
-An unusual or allergic reaction to hydrocortisone, other medications, foods, dyes, or preservatives
-Pregnant or trying to get pregnant
-Breastfeeding

What should I watch for while using Anusol HC?

Visit your care team for regular checks on your progress. Tell your care team if your symptoms do not improve after a few days of use. Do not use if there is blood in your stools.
If you get any type of infection while using this medication, you may need to stop using this medication until our infections clears up. Ask your care team for advice.

Where should I keep my medicine?

Keep out of the reach of children.
Store at room temperature between 20 and 25 degrees C (68 and 77 degrees F). Protect from heat and freezing. Throw away any unused medication after the expiration date.
