What may interact with Edarbyclor?
This medication may interact with the following:
-Certain medications for blood pressure
-Digoxin
-Diuretics
-Lithium
-NSAIDs, medications for pain and inflammation, like ibuprofen, naproxen, and celecoxib
What should I tell my health care provider before I take Edarbyclor
They need to know if you have any of these conditions:
-Dehydration
-Gout
-Heart disease
-Kidney disease
-Liver disease
-Low levels of sodium, chloride, potassium, or magnesium in the blood
-An unusual or allergic reaction to azilsartan, chlorthalidone, other medications, foods, dyes, or preservatives
-Pregnant or trying to get pregnant
-Breast-feeding
What should I watch for while using Edarbyclor?
Visit your care team for regular checks on your progress. Check your blood pressure as directed. Ask your care team what your blood pressure should be and when you should contact them.
Do not treat yourself for coughs, colds, or pain while you are using this medication without asking your care team for advice. Some ingredients may increase your blood pressure.
Women should inform their care team if they wish to become pregnant or think they might be pregnant. There is a potential for serious side effects to an unborn child. Talk to your care team or pharmacist for more information.
You may get dizzy. Do not drive, use machinery, or do anything that needs mental alertness until you know how this medication affects you. Do not stand or sit up quickly, especially if you are an older patient. This reduces the risk of dizzy or fainting spells. Avoid alcoholic drinks; they can make you more dizzy.
This medication can make you more sensitive to the sun. Keep out of the sun. If you cannot avoid being in the sun, wear protective clothing and use sunscreen. Do not use sun lamps or tanning beds/booths.
Avoid salt substitutes unless you are told otherwise by your care team.
Where should I keep my medicine?
Keep out of the reach of children and pets.
Store at room temperature between 20 and 25 degrees C (68 and 77 degrees F). Keep this medication in the original container. Protect from light. Keep the container tightly closed. Throw away any unused medication after the expiration date.
