Ketorolac Side Effects

Possible side effects of ketorolac ophthalmic are listed below. Contact your doctor for medical advice about side effects if they are severe or do not go away in a few days.

  • Blurry vision
  • Stinging or burning in the eye
  • Swollen or puffy eyelids
  • Headache

Rarely, ketorolac can cause more serious side effects. Seek emergency medical attention if you have the following signs and symptoms:

  • Difficulty breathing or swallowing
  • Ocular infection in or around the eyes
  • Redness or swelling of the eyes, tongue, or lips
  • Hives, rash, itching, blisters

Ketorolac Overdose: In case someone accidentally swallows ketorolac ophthalmic solution, contact the national poison control center at 1-800-222-1222. If a person cannot be awakened, has trouble breathing, has collapsed, or has had a seizure, call 911.
