  • You need to apply the medicine 2-4 times a day.
  • Triamcinolone acetonide is for short-term use only. Prolonged use can cause local skin reactions as well as systemic toxicity. 
  • Triamcinolone acetonide is not the strongest topical corticosteroid. It may not be effective in treating severe skin conditions such as conditions requiring supplemental systemic corticosteroids.
  • This medicine should be used with caution in children because they can develop serious side effects at relatively low dosage levels.
