Meet Our MVP: Lauren

For years, my mantra has been: “Be Your Best Self.” Since joining BuzzRx, I changed the Be to “Bee.” I think I was destined to be part of the BuzzRx hive.

This October marks one year since Lauren joined BuzzRx, and because of her success and dedication as a BuzzRx Representative, has been named our Q3 MVP!

Out in the field, Lauren represents the Community FoodBank of New Jersey, Make-A-Wish New Jersey, as well as the Philadelphia, Delaware & Susquehanna Valley chapters. She also works with the ASPCA program and is passionate about animals, including her two dogs at home.

Lauren’s authenticity and ability to connect with people have been essential to building her business. Out in the field, she doesn’t have a planned pitch--she demonstrates that helping others and the charities that BuzzRx supports are the number one priority. When visiting with accounts, she listens attentively and gets to know everyone personally while getting them excited about helping others.

One of the reasons that Lauren has been so successful is her ability to stay organized and soak up information. From day one, she has immersed herself in the company, taking advantage of marketing information, tips from fellow Reps, and the open line of communication between Managers and their teams via calls, text, and group threads. She makes a habit of monitoring the group text for nuggets of information and getting on the phone with colleagues for feedback to better build her business.

Lauren started her career working in the garment/textile industry in NYC. Then she pivoted and worked in the pharmaceutical industry for 12 years, but after the 2008 recession and birth of her daughter, staying at home became the best choice for her family. During that time, she took advantage of every opportunity to volunteer at her daughters’ schools, which she loved. She has always excelled at fundraising, planning events, keeping everyone organized, and fostering a fun environment with activities and creative treats. BuzzRx was Lauren’s reentry into the workforce and she felt it was the perfect fit to use these skills to continue helping professionals help their customers and communities.

Lauren learned the importance of giving back and volunteering from her parents. Her  father set a strong example for helping others throughout his life, from visiting colleagues in the hospital to teaching children how to play golf, while her Mother helped organize fundraisers, volunteered at schools and in their community. Today, Lauren has passed these values to her daughters, and she and her oldest daughter are working on becoming Make-A-Wish wish granters in their community.

“When I decided to go back to work, I knew it would need to be something that really helps people. That is what this is. I can help people save money AND grow donations for our charity partners. I can see how I am really making an impact, and I’m helping the pharmacies make an impact--helping them help their own community. When I visited my accounts to celebrate one year of working together, I said, ‘happy anniversary to our partnership of helping over the past year.’ It’s about them, not me. My father would have loved BuzzRx. I wish he could have seen this.”

Lauren’s manager, Brad, shared, “We are very fortunate to have attracted someone of Lauren’s caliber. Over the past year, she has exceeded expectations month-over-month and made a tremendous impact within her territory and with fellow colleagues. Her continued dedication, planning, and passion are just a few reasons for her success at BuzzRx. I look forward to seeing Lauren’s future accomplishments. We’re so glad you're part of BuzzRx!”

Congratulations, Lauren, on beeing our MVP!
