Midge joined BuzzRx in April 2012 and, because of her success and dedication as a BuzzRx Representative, has been named our Q3 2023 MVP! This isn’t the first time Midge has been named MVP, and it likely won’t be the last for this President’s Club member! She has been a valuable team member over the past 11 years, and we are so honored to have her representing BuzzRx. 

Out in the field, Midge covers the Lowcountry in South Carolina and south-of-Atlanta, Georgia regions. The savings she brings to her community give back to Make-A-Wish® South Carolina and Make-A-Wish® Georgia, as well as the ASPCA®. 

“I share both Make-A-Wish® and ASPCA® every visit. My first love is Make-A-Wish because it makes such a difference for whole families. I’ve heard from so many, including one of our Reps, Shannon, how much it helps families in their toughest times.”

Here are some of Midge’s secrets to success at BuzzRx.

What do you like most about working for BuzzRx? How have you grown throughout your time with the company?

The best part of BuzzRx is helping people afford their medications during times of need while forming relationships with so many healthcare heroes daily. I’ve learned how much stronger I am and how many obstacles I can overcome.

What are some of your keys to success?

I have always believed that with enough smiles, I can eventually make people smile back. I just keep trying to change things up and offer my accounts the opportunity to make others smile as well. Of course, this gives me a chance to build relationships and encourage them to try our programs—as we know that once they try us, they love us!

What did you do before BuzzRx? How has that influenced your experience working for the company?

I’ve done too many things! What I loved most was having a retail store where I could develop relationships (!) and help people during special times in their lives.

Tell me something about yourself that you would like readers and BuzzRx colleagues to know.

I’ve always thought of myself as the tortoise in the story of the tortoise and hare, or even the Little Engine That Could™. I just keep putting one foot in front of the other, doing whatever is set before me and doing it to the best I can to honor myself and others. This job has been a perfect fit for me!

What is a story from the field that made an impact on you?

So many stories! This week, a Pharmacy Technician told me a customer called to ask, “What discount card did you use?” because their medication was reduced from $400 to $24! The customer had tried many other discount websites, but none came close to BuzzRx! The customer was thrilled, but so was the Tech! They are there to help, but often their hands are tied. We give them the opportunity to be heroes! Who doesn’t love to feel empowered? We give them that chance!

Midge’s manager, Trina, shared, “I could fill a book with all of the lessons and blessings Midge has taught me… she has been a foundation for not only how I approach business, but also being a dedicated wife, mother, and friend. She has taught me that nothing is impossible because we can access strength through a higher power that carries us to our purpose. I am who I am because this “Mama” has been in my world for 11 years. Midge is one of the first people I text when major life events happen--she has become my family, and I am forever blessed.”
